About Us

CASCO is an Industrial Building Contractor established in 1959.  CASCO was founded by J.R. Shannon, Jr. in 1959.  The Shannon family has been in the metal building and  component business for over four generations.  It all began with Shannon & Co., a Hardware Merchant and Sheet Metal Shop located on Main Street in  La Porte, Texas in the early 1900’s.  The next generation gave rise to Shannon Building Corporation established after WWII in Houston, Texas. 

CASCO Industrial Builders is currently run by Dan and Gerald Shannon and is located at 4515 Steffani Lane in Northwest Houston, Texas.
