About Us

CASCO has its roots in the Houston, Texas area.  Spanning four generations, the Shannon family owns and runs CASCO.  It began with Albert Shannon, in La Porte, Texas proprietor of several businesses including a hardware store & sheet metal shop. 

Next generation, Joseph Shannon was a pioneer in the metal building business as the owner and operator of SHANNON STEEL BUILDING CORP.

Bob Shannon started CASCO in 1959, after working for his father at SHANNON STEEL BUILDING CORP.  CASCO has served primarily the Texas and Louisiana Gulf Coast for over 45 years, but has had projects in more than twenty other states, and overseas as well.

Today, CASCO is owned and run by Daniel and Gerald Shannon, both native Houstonians and graduates of Texas A & M University.
